Application for Readmission

Former students wishing to return to Transylvania must apply for readmission.

Applications for readmission should be completed and submitted by:

Fall Term - July 1
Winter Term - November 1
May Term is not ordinarily granted.

The readmission process is managed by the registrar's office and requires the following steps:

The applicant must complete the application below.
The applicant must provide official transcripts of any academic work undertaken while away from Transylvania and submit a Statement of Good Standing from all other institutions attended.
A former student who withdrew for reasons of poor health must provide letters from appropriate health care providers attesting individual's good health and a recommendation regarding the student's return to the university. The documentation may be attached and uploaded electronically at the bottom of this application.

Readmission is neither automatic nor guaranteed. Among the factors considered in the readmission decision are:

conditions under which the withdrawal occurred,
available space,
time elapsed since the student's last attendance, and
other factors deemed relevant by the University
