      Who should attend Transy Summer Fest?

      • High school students (especially rising juniors and seniors) and their supporters who are:
        • Just starting the college search;
        • Looking for basic information about college admissions; 
        • Are interested in learning about what a Transylvania college experience has to offer.
      It's the "getting to know you" part of a college search!

      Summer Fest tourYour day at Summer Fest will include:

      • Breakfast from a favorite local shop to start your day;
      • A full campus tour led by a current Transy student; 
      • Complimentary lunch;
      • Information sessions to help you learn more, including a panel with Transy students and info about how to pay for college;
      • Summer tunes, prizes and much more!

      As the COVID-19 pandemic persists, we continue to monitor the health and safety protocols set forth by our local health department and Fayette County Public Schools. Because of this, we strongly recommend wearing masks inside buildings for your safety, and the safety of our campus community. Additionally, all event registrants will be asked to sign and abide by our waivers (available in the event sign-up), frequently wash hands or hand sanitize and be respectful of other visiting families.

      We know that you and your family may still be reticent to explore a college campus during business hours and in a large-group event setting. If Summer Fest isn't right for you, we have several campus visit  alternatives you can learn about here. No matter the event or visit type, we look forward to sharing more with you!
