He also served as an admissions ambassador, First Engagements coordinator, and was active in Kappa Alpha, earning Interfraternity Member of the Year honors. After graduation, he moved to Baltimore to begin a career with PricewaterhouseCoopers. ![]() Tammy Ray, '23, majored in music technology, composing original works performed on campus and at festivals including Studio 300 and the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival. She designed sound and composed music for theater productions, played violin in the orchestra, tutored music theory, and helped revive the Latino Student Alliance. After graduation, Ray pursued a career in sound engineering, violin instruction, and hopes to one day compose film scores. ![]() Julia Easley, ’25, majored in English and engaged deeply in campus life and developed the skills and leadership to prepare for her future. After graduation, Easley moved to Okinawa, Japan, with her husband and planned to teach English through the Department of Defense Education Activity or a community organization. ![]() Omar Bojang, '22, majored in Biology and pre-med with plans to work in cancer research before medical school, using his Transy education to make a lasting impact. Active in the Black Student Alliance, Muslim Student Association, Pi Kappa Alpha, and Senior Challenge Committee, the Lexington native with Gambian roots is driven to improve lives through science and service. ![]() Liam Harari, '23, majored in physics and developed a passion for environmental issues through courses including Climate Conversations and a First-Year Seminar with Professor Brian Rich. He contributed to campus sustainability efforts, including solar panel installation, while playing lacrosse for Transylvania after competing on Australia’s under-23 national team. After graduation, Harari returned to Melbourne to pursue a master’s in international relations at the University of Melbourne. ![]() Maddie Mullan, '25, double majored in psychology and sociology with a minor in women’s, gender, and sexuality studies. They conducted research on cancel culture through a school grant with Professor Iva Katzarska-Miller. Mullan was also a campus leader, active in TUnity, the Conservation Action Committee, and Alpha Omicron Pi, played field hockey, and served as an area coordinator. After graduation, they planned to gain real-world experience in their field before pursuing further education. ![]() When Taylor Kielman, '22 arrived at Transy, she never imagined studying Chinese. But a May term trip sparked a passion for the language and culture, shaping her path in international affairs. Alongside roles as an RA and Writing Center tutor, she explored leadership and research opportunities that confirmed her direction. Now she’s headed to UCLA for a master’s in East Asian studies, with plans for a Ph.D. and a career as a professor. |
